About Ravens’ Valley Nature Retreat

Let’s get you back to Nature! We are nestled in the heart of the Sturgeon Valley across from the river.

Many fun activities to enjoy! Come out to enjoy fun times playing lawn games, fire pit, talking, making outdoor meals, singing songs, ghost stories, rock painting and board games.

A beautiful private getaway, where you can relax, let go, tune into nature, and rejuvenate. There are so many good healing factors when you can just relax and let nature take its course!

Facts

-Nature can provide countless opportunities for discovering and creating.

-Interacting with natural environments allows us to learn by doing and experiment with ideas.

-In nature, we can just think better — thereby developing a way to relax and bring out the don’t worry be happy!

-Explore and enjoy! When you can feel connected to nature you will also feel better connected to those around you.

-It’s as though when exploring nature, we are all somehow are connected to the universe. This connectedness can provide great peace and bliss. By yourself or with a partner and/or family.

Accommodations/ 6 sites-each includes

–Picnic table, gazebo, barbecue, fire pit, firewood bring your own axe.

-Lawn games, board games, solar shower bags, solar lights, head flash lights,

-5 gallon water jug with hand pump,

-Lawn chairs, hot dog sticks, utensils, cups, napkins, fire pit coffee percolator, dish soap, natural shower soap, shampoo and kitchen towels.

-Decorated with flowers around each site.

–Bins for garbage and bottles.

–We hang wasp traps in different locations to keep them away.

Things to bring

Food, clothes, shower towels, drinking water, flashlights, coolers, mosquito spray, axe, propane bottle.

–The Chickadee Chalet– sleeps up to 5 guests. Has power and an outdoor shower, dinette booth, coffee pot, crock pot and toaster.
